About Vine Stripe Stitch

Vine Stripe Stitch is a pattern of stitches shaped like vines and leaves, winding down a background of garter stitch. It looks a bit like it is a cabled stitch. (Don’t worry — it isn’t!)

The longer the repeat, the more beautiful this stitch is. It’s a good fit for scarves, blankets, or down the sleeve of a sweater!

I used 172 yards (157 meters) of yarn to complete this panel.
