At Yarn's Length

Indulgence Cashmere Yarn by KFI [Yarn Review]

I discovered KFI Indulgence Cashmere yarn at The Stitch Witch, a local yarn shop in Bedford, Virginia. I was searching for a striped yarn to make a Musselburgh Hat with and loved the playful colorways of this yarn. I just knew it would be perfect!

About KFI Indulgence Cashmere Yarn

KFI Indulgence Cashmere yarn is a super fine yarn made from a blend of wool, polyamide (rayon), and cashmere. It is available in over two dozen striped colorways, all in bullet skeins.

Indulgence Cashmere retails for $10 per skein. Each bullet skein contains 437 yards (400 meters) of yarn and weighs in at 150 grams (5.25 ounces).

The recommended needles and hooks for this yarn are US 2 (3.25 mm) knitting needles and D-3 crochet hooks, though I found this flexible and was even able to use US 8 (5.00 mm) needles with this yarn comfortably.

Pros

KFI Indulgence Cashmere yarn is an incredibly soft yarn, due to its cashmere content. It has minimal halo and is not fuzzy, even after washing and drying.

It was an excellent yarn to work with. I did not encounter any knots or breakages in my skeins.

Cons

I did not find any cons to using this yarn, however note that it is not suitable for vegans due to its cashmere and wool content.

Overall

KFI Indulgence Cashmere is definitely a yarn I would recommend. The colorways, ease of use, and feel make it worth the cost.

I’d love to see how it works up in other projects, particularly socks.
